  Negresco is truly a five star hotel. At 100 years old, it hasn't missed a beat. It combines lovely antiques with spectacular contemporary art. It is a visual candy store.   Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » some for the car. Emilie was a great tour-guide and made the city come alive with her descriptions and stories.   I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular.
