  We were greeted with smiles and although I tried speaking French, the receptionist recognized my American accent and began speaking English right away. That was a relief!   The location of the hotel is fantastic - its easy to find and very close to Blanche metro station. Moulin Rouge is just round the corner and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Our room (a Superior Double) was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean.   Stayed in an executive room -very spacious. Bed extremely comfortable and quality of linen superb. The aircon and/or heating was efficient and the temperature kicked in quickly. Quite impressed with bathroom too - shower large, towels big and fluffy.
