  The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, and put up with our poor French (although some of them could switch into English). Free internet was great!   We stayed at Riviera for 3 nights, I have to say the Staff of the hotel were really friendly and helping. The hotel had internet for free in loby, and also at nights when we want to drink tea, they borrowed us their kettle. They also helped us about sightseeing.
