  I have aspired to stay in this hotel since I first visited Paris as a student and could not afford it...I Was not DISSAPOINTED,as follows... Lovely staff. Child Friendly. Excellent Location. Honesty Bar and 24 hour service (we did not use it but nice to know it's there). Calm atmosphere... Oasis in the middle of mad Paris ! Garden Suite... (Too ho... mitä ihmiset sanovat » t to use during our visit but nice to know it was there).. 4* accolade but bordering on 5* Chess in the lounge for the kids (mine are 7 and 11) ... go - The staff was uniformly helpful, flexible, friendly and polite. The location is perfect for those who like to wander the Left Bank. The room was a "Paris size", but that is Paris, No? The room was very quiet even though overlooking the street. Very comfortable bed. Lot's of good, non-tourist dining available within a true 5 minute stroll, including a very nice Jaques Cagna restaurant right across the street and 5 minutes from a Grom gelateria. You can spend more but you really won't get more.

  The Location which central to tourist sites + the cleanliness of the room - The location was fantastic, the Scribe is an excellent hotel with very polite staff. The cleaniness of the rooms was very good and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

  This is such a lovely, small hotel in a fabulous location for touring Paris on foot, centrally located to most of the major sites and attractions. The staff is warm, friendly and most helpful. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, and a welcome respite from the busy city. The price was more than a hundred dollars a night less than the others in the area. The front desk person was wonderful. The rooms were small and a bit tired, but clean and the showers were hot with lots of pressure. Good internet.
