  Location is great - 5 min from metro station, 15 min walking from Seine river and Austerliz train station which offer train trip to the airport with RER network (warning - you need to change RER C and B lines), 45 min walking from Notre Dame (perfect for night promenade). Hotel and room very clean and very modern facilities. Paid extra for breakfast but although basic, it did set us up for the day and was self-service so you could go back for more. Overall a very good hotel and we would like to return one day

The staff recommends dinner at the brasserie L’Européen on Blvd Diderot, opposite the Gare de Lyon: excellent food in a nice location. Breakfast is of good quality served in the basement, tourists my prefer to go out. Wireless internet is free

  Stayed here for 5 nights with two teenage kids. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. The street and neighborhood were quiet (then again it was in the middle of August in Paris). The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.
