The restaurant of the hotel is very good, breakfasts are very tasty and quite substantial. Reims Cathedral is just a 7-minute walk. This hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Gare de l'Est, which is very convenient if you are arriving or departing there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and moved our room to a higher floor when we asked.   Fabulous place! The staff couldn't be better; and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. He is in the process of doing the place up; and we had the privilege of staying in one of the newly decorated rooms. It was fresh and so clean; and seemed much bigger than the pictures on the web. Although we never used it, there is access to a computer, - On my arrival the hotel owner/manager was very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent; between 2 major railway stations Gare Du Nord & Gare De L'Est, easy walk to magnificent Sacre Cœur, & funky Montmatre & close to Blvd Poissonnere (live theatre & shows). The Metro is very close too but I didn't use it as evrything I needed or wanted to do was nearby.

  After reading some reviews, I was a bit sceptical about this hotel. But after staying there for 3 nights, I should say I did enjoy my stay here. Simple, no frills hotel. The guy at the reception was friendly and speaks English well. Really helpful guy, didn't manage to catch his name though.
