Not expensive There was always someone at the reception to talk to you

  Very good location. Clean, friendly and modern rooms. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Very professional for a 2-star hotel! - This hotel is in a fabulous area of Paris, not at all touristy and with a wide variety of local shops, with a market at the bottom of the street.   Friendliness - I spent 3 nights in this hotel with my girlfriend and I have to say - everything was perfect, hotel staff was very kind, friendly, there was no problem with speaking English and I could obtain many useful information of them.   The location was brilliant for Eurostar travellers with a short 15 min walk from gare du nord. The hotel had a lift - most welcome to get bags up to the room. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and spoke good English. We had a room for 4 with an ensuite, as I was travelling alone with 3 young children we couldn't be split into 2 rooms, ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » and I didn't want to share a bathroom down the corridor ( common in Parisian hotels) so to find this in a great central location was fantastic. We wal - It was very straightforward and they were accommodating, letting us check in after midnight, and leave our bags at the hotel after checkout, they even advised us on the best way to get to the airport.

  The hotel is great because it is friendly and clean and our room had a great view of the roof tops. La Marais is a very interesting and atmospheric location. It is easy to access the Seine and other places of interest. We especially enjoyed the Jewish quarter and the falafels.
