  Vintage is quite close to Gare du Nord Train Station, only need to walk 10-15 mins.The staff was extremely busy but they were friendly and helpful. Vintage is clean and the breakfast is very good. They serve three different bread and two kinds of cereal every morning. I stayed there for 4 nights and I was very enjoying staying there. I flew into CDG, caught the train to gar de nord and then the hostel is a very short walk up rue de dunkerque. Then further up the street is the pigalle and sacre couer just above that. Breakfast was good, plus there are supermarkets on the same street and you can cook your own food at the hostel. Wifi is free, staff are friendly. If you're prepared to accept that it's a budget option and don't expect the ritz it's a great choice. I fully intend to return.

  We stayed at Riviera for 3 nights, I have to say the Staff of the hotel were really friendly and helping. The hotel had internet for free in loby, and also at nights when we want to drink tea, they borrowed us their kettle. They also helped us about sightseeing. The rooms were good as well, the beds were a little bit small, but comfortable.   The location was great - a short walk from Gare du Nord, close to many good budget-minded cafes, and incredible jazz clubs. The view from the sixth floor (i.e. seventh) was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful, and put up with our poor French (although some of them could switch into English). Free internet was great! When we had to leave earlier, the receptionist himself served us breakfast with just-from-the-bakery croissants and baguettes. 3. Public kitchen is a good thing. 4. Rather nice facilities for the money, good beds, nice breakfast.

  We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. Breakfast is really really good, fresh juices, selection pastries, ham, cheese... mitä ihmiset sanovat » , fruit, good coffee. This is the only hotel I found that had breakfast included and it was of such a great quality too. The room is basic but has eve - The room was compact and comfortable with a nice view of the Pierre Semard street, quiet and so typically Parisian. Breakfast was awesome, everything fresh and abundant. The staff very helpful. We really had a great stay at this hotel which I recommend to other travellers. Location, 5 minutes walking from Poissoniere metro station and 10 minutes leisurely walking to the Opera Garnier and Galeries Lafayette. Great!
