Quite outstanding house and grounds in the middle of Cognac. Formerly the home of the Martell familiar, it is one of the most luxurious houses in the area and very well located for all that Cognac has to offer.

It takes a 10 minute walk to the center of town, whilst making you feel you are in the country. The grounds are really pretty, over the river with a lot of greenery. It feels very, very peaceful there.
Carpark is free and safe.
The Lodge room is quite spacious.

Great location right by the river, just over the bridge from the Hennessey Distillery and a 10 minute walk from the old town of Cognac. There were several restaurants within walking distance and 2 boulangeries within 2 minutes to get fresh croissants in the morning. The chalets were lovely, all wood panelled and very clean and new.

We liked the friendliness of staff. It was only 1km walk from hotel to Cognac therefore enabling us to leave car at hotel. It was also near to large supermarket for cheap petrol etc.
