Great castle view from 2rd floor, 2 bedrooms, easily suitable not only for 5-6, but for 8 persons to stay in comfort. Washing machine and electric dryer. A balcony and view of La Cite to die for especially at night while sipping your aperitif! Very quite as well with small local tabac and shops for the necessities.....fantastic croissants.   Being an apparthotel we had complete flexibility to "eat in" rather than find a restaurant every night as there was a small and surprisingly well-equiped kitchenette with all that we needed in the way of utensils for light meal preparation; this also made our stay in Cacassonne very economical. The indoor pool and sauna were a bonu - The hotel has a large internal parking available and is within walking distance from the medieval city. The staff is friendly and helpful: there was a problem with the room they assigned us - twin beds instead of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean and spacious, with a large balcony and a stunning view of the fortified ramparts. The bathroom was well-furnished and immaculate.
