  My stay was an utter delight from arrival to departure. The staff were a joy to meet and interact with, and very helpful at all times. The bed was amazingly comfortable .... deliciously so, apparently hand-made in Sweden (I want one). The village location is quiet and very picturesque. A short taxi ride to Nice airport, I've previously used Chateau le Cagnard as a haven before the long flight to Australia and - 1-The Junior Suite's comfortable bed, pillow, and down comforter. 2-Hotel is in a fantastic medieval village that is still inhabited and sits atop a high hill (or small mountain) with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains. 3-Fabulous gourmet restaurant with Chef Stephan. Dinner is not to be missed! Try the goat cheese spread, and steak or chicken dinners.   This residence is beautiful, with a great lady as the host. We were delighted with everything except access. The room we had was unique, very old French country style, small but extremely elegant. Everything was very clean. Close to shops and beach (1.5km), not far from Nice either. For sure to stay again - The accommodation was very close to the... mitä ihmiset sanovat » .old village. It was also a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden.
