Les Fleurons is in an excellent location; it is a short, fairly level walk from the heart of the town and our train connected with a quick shuttle bus ride from the rail station. We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

We booked at the last moment in a hurry... we didn't check the reviews or anything we just went for it. Driving there we went up the wrong road and our hearts dropped thinking it was going to be a crummy place based on the lay of the land. Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely.
