We loved staying at the Lady MacDonald! I travel every week and this was a refreshing break from a hotel room. It was cozy, inviting and felt like home. The breakfasts were amazing and the baked goods provided during the evening were fabulous. Sitting in the common room with a good book, a cup of herbal tea and a piece of cake or cookie was everything a hotel room is not. Thanks Peter and Tammy for a great stay!

The lake view is gorgeous. If you've already plan to spend big money to stay in this hotel, I suggest you spend extra 100 to get a room with lake view. It's totally worth it.
And you will have free wi-fi access if you register as a fairmont member. Just fill out an application form in the front desk. simple and easy.

The bed was incredibile, the pillows and duvet were like sleeping on a cloud with just the right weight and temperature. The air tub was just what was needed after a full day of skiing, follwed by resting infront of the wood burning fireplace. The only thing that topped our hotel stay was the great downhill skiing. I liked the Spa and Services there. the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that the staff put water into the fridge knowing that I just had a massage treatment and that i would need to drink lots of water. I also liked the cleanliness of my room for the best part.

We had a great view of the mountains in Banff from our room. The hotel is up out of the townsite, so you feel like you are in nature. The room itself was modern and roomy. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. It was quiet and peaceful, which is what we wanted on this trip. -
