This place is exactly what it said it would be a budget hotel near the airport. The shuttle was marked, there was wifi in my room, (even though it did take a few tries to connect it) and it was enough bandwidth to stream shows. I just buffered them while I ate dinner at the restaurant. The room was small but sufficient and it was clean. -

Very helpful personnel.
Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room.
The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. In the night it gave a reliable 2/0.2 Mbit/s connection and sometimes even better.

The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route

The hotel is located in the liveliest part of town and as close to centre of Leuven as you can get.
The staff is friendly and accommodating.
The rooms are dated and a bit tired, but the bed and bathroom are acceptable.
Despite our very early departure, our breakfast was made available with a smile.

Great little Hotel in a fantastic, vibrant Flemish town. The location couldn't be better, right in the middle of everything, We finished our evening off in the very pleasant surroundings of the bar downstairs.

1. For a family of a couple and a kid the room is ideal with the bunker bed on top. Also ideal for 3 people traveling together.
2.The staff are excellent - very courteous, helpful, patient and helpful. I had forgotten my purse in the lobby and it was promptly kept in safe keeping. -
