  Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  Everything was perfect. The guests are very warm and helpful, the views are breathtaking and the apartment is just what you need for a relaxing holiday. We had the big apartment and it felt like home. We really enjoyed our large terraces and also the pool, which are perfect to chill out in the sun.   This is a friendly, cozy place to stay. It is somewhat larger than what I would call a bed and breakfast by the American definition, but it still had that kind of feel. This is family owned and the owners take great pride in their service and their hotel, and it shows.
