These suites has everything you need, incl. small fridge, electric cooker, kettle, microwave oven and other ktchenware. We have checked around 30 other accomodations in 50km range and Pension Handle was the best one (in price range - We have used this pension as a one night pit stop on our way for skiing in Italy.   Arriving at the Berwald I was met by the charming and welcoming hostess Katharina. I had a choice of two rooms which were both very comfortable. The house commands spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the tinkling of the cowbells on the mountains added to its charm. Katharina was very friendly and spoke fluent english. Our room was extremely clean, comfortable, well furnished and with mindblowing views of the Alpbach area. Breakfast was excellent. Katharina and her family willingly attend to your every wish to ensure your stay is memorable for all the right reasons. We didn't want to leave, but we shall be back next summer.

  The location is very good. Good starting place for a Hochalpenstrasse. Staff was very friendly and food was delicious. - This place is a hidden gem - great restaurant with varied selection including vegetarian. Has a real local feel.

  Very nice place, close to the main street in very calm area. Close to skibus, you can go directly to the pension from the ski slope. Comfortable room. Nice, fresh breakfasts.
