  We booked in for Saturday 13 April 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our brilliant one night stay. The whole experience was delightful and my mother visiting from New Zealand was genuinely excited about her new experience in Margaret River.   I have been to Kununurra Lakeside Resort twice now and I love it, the pool is just beautiful and we had dinner there both times and the food is great with great prices, will def be back soon, Donna Halls Creek - super friendly staff - keen to tell us about the facility and about our future trip into the KImberly.   Simple, comfortable, has everything you need. Caters to a variety of groups (backpackers, families, older people, budget travellers, those who like their comfort). Wildlife wandered freely through the resort but boundaries to eating areas maintained. Everything close, nothing too over the top. Small, well-equipped shop/mini- - The location is great. We stayed in the beach villas, with a balcony right on the beach... the only room type to book in my opinion (if you stay in the garden villas, other review comments apply about the "caravan park like setting"). But the beach villas were nice, dolphin viewing great - I wouldn't stay anywhere else (unless you have a very tight budget)

  The never ending help from the staff over and above of their duties. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. Being pensioners the room we had was great as we did not have to walk far to the restaurant. - Great, cool room. Hotel set in green surroundings. In center of Kununurra.
