  Nice position in the center of Alice Springs. I used it as a base to leave for a tour to Uluru, and it was very convenient. Priced fairly, nice and clean, no luxury accomodation by all means, but would definitely recommend it¬ - Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. It had a family atmosphere.   We stayed only two nights in Alice Springs and were very happy we had booked Alice Motor Inn. Gee, the manager was very helpful and friendly with good recommendations for dinner and places to shop. When we wondered if the Didgeridoo show was running, he was quick to call and find out for us. The room was clean and well outfitted with everything you'd need, including good air conditio - The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble. They provide a well-equipped kitchen for the use of guests, as well as a laundry and line for drying clothes. There is a small but pristine pool. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comf
