Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough away from any street noise. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

  Nothing to fault here, a spotless and spacious self-contained apartment in a great location within easy walk of both the City and Fortitude Valley. The kitchenette was well-equipped with stove-top, dishwasher and microwave, plus plenty of pots, pans, glassware, plates etc.There is a nearby supermarket and coffee shop/deli, bottle shop and bakery a... mitä ihmiset sanovat » nd we had also had no problem with a pizza delivery finding us. There is a small starter pack of tea, coffee, milk, dish washing liquid, soap and toil - We love it. Very spacious balcony.. Every equipment in the apartment is functioning well. The rooms are great..the bathroom are clean and spacious..the kitchen is almost complete (would be lovely if has a bigger frying pan). A bit far from Queen St Mall area (around 15 mins walk), but nearby Woolsworth. Going down to the Queen St area is okay (going downhill), but coming back to the apartment is quite a journey as we have to walk uphill.

The accomodation was very clean & cost was good for us& even though it was close toYHA & Backpackers acc, it was not Noisy. - Its an old 1877 cottage what you would expect.   Location is very good, close to South Bank and City centre but in a quiet area. Apartment was clean, well equipped and with free wi-fi we could find and book what we wanted in Brisbane ( including the internet booking of city cycles that can then be taken from the cycle stand at the park, across the road .) I appreciated the ashtrays on the balcony and that the staff didn't play shame-the- smoker. I only spoke to the gentleman at the desk, but can't remember his name - sorry! But thanks for a lovely albeit short stay. I also liked the parking and that we weren't charged an arm and a leg for it.

  This is such a gorgeous cosy house! Brilliant location ten mins from the south bank. Everyone that stayed there the same time as us were all really friendly. No late noise or traffic noise. The house is lovely and our room (10) was brill, very cute almost like staying at your nans house, lovely extras as well such as free Internet. We checked in very late at night but the managers were very thoughtful and made sure we had no trouble getting in. The location is excellent. We also used the free bikes and went on a very nice early morning bike ride. Very happy with our stay.
