One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays. -
The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel!
Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door.
Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)!

The fact that it was an old wool store business converted and the facade
was left in tact. I loved the big old black doors and the floor mosaic
telling us what the building had been used for in the past. Has any
history of the building been kept to view while staying at the Oaks
Goldsborough, Darling Harbour??

I had read the reviews after I had made my booking. I probably would never had booked after reading shoddy reviews.
Well, was I pleasantly suprised!
I stayed with my 15 year old daughter, and were on the 12th floor.
This place ticks all the boxes.
All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hair drier wasn't working in my room - house keeping replaced it straight away.

Close to Wynyard station
Lady at reception was lovely and helped me with my bags, toddler, portacot etc, she loaded me onto the trolley, including my son in his carseat and helped us unload into our room. She had a NZ accent and was wearing a grey shirt when she checked in. She was great and deserves recognition!!

We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment with our 3 kids including a baby in a portacot. The apartment was fabulous, very clean and spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us. Our kids loved the heated pool and spa. Excellent location and easy walking distance to the main attractions and with Wynyard station around the corner, getting to Bondi or anywhere else was a breeze. We will definately stay here again and recommend to others.

Just loved how close it was to the ferry terminal, made it so close to the city and Darling Harbour but no crazy crowds! The location is fabulous. Beautiful view. The hotel is positioned almost on top of North Sydney railway station which is very convenient - we weren't disturbed by the odd rumble of a train passing outside. We stayed in a double room with a harbour view on the 12th floor. Staff were efficient and friendly. Great place to stay and will be back the next time we visit Sydney. The staff were friendly and always polite, you felt very welcome. The room had plenty of space and very comfortable. Was also great to have a kitchenette in the room. Considering the location, I thought it may have been a bit noisy but there was no noise at all!. It was very quite.
