I discussed a problem at check-in and although the receptionist could not discuss my problem she relayed it to the duty manager who rang me soon after and offered a solution without hesitation. The food and service was excellent.
We were looking forward to swimming in the pool but it was too cold. I imagine the pool was heated by solar power and unfortunately the weather had not been good for a couple of weeks. The lift was very slow and the bathrooms were smaller than I would have liked.

Our shower leaked and no in house movies. Only movies to purchase. Other than that was a delightful stay.
This Hotel is central to the city and also a short walk to suncorp stadium,so in great location,perfect for shopping and catching a football game or concert,will definately stay here again
They put up with our hens night antics!!!! Very courteous and gracious staff. Had lots of fun!! Great location and hope to stay there again soon.
Food was excellent. Again. And the staff were friendly and very helpful. Again. The roof top pool and spa are also lovely by night.

Sometimes the card that had to be used in the lift did not work. However, this was not a major problem.

The hotel is located near the quiet area. It is a relaxing feeling. Staffs are very pleasant and helpful.

really loved the fact that not only was the portacot at no charge, but unlike an other hotel we recently stayed at, which charged for this item, it was set up in our room ready for napping baby when we arrived and no charge for kids under 12 means we will come and stay again as this makes it affordable. Also thought hot choc sachets were a lovely touch as kids don't drink coffee or tea.
*-Car parking is a huge plus for those arriving by car. *-best staff for an inner city hotel
*-At $329 for a Saturday night, this hotel borders on expensive. *- signs of previous habitation in room detracted
The pillows and bedding are always the highlight when i stay at hotels an i was in absolute heaven at the Grand Chancellor ! :)
There was no body lotion in the bathroom selection.
Food was beautiful and staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was $20 a day but excellent value for money as we left the car there for several hours after checking out and it's impossible to get car parking that cheap so close to the city. Staff were very helpful and cheery.

Location: distance to CBD is good. Good parking possibilities and the room had a very nice balcony
Spa was not cleaned very well. Besides the room wasn't cleaned very well although the bathroom was a positive exception

the complimentary buffet breakfast and security of the hotel. Overall with all the mix ups we managed to have a good time. Also spoke to a lovely lady and gentlemen when we were leaving the hotel who apologised for all inconvenience.
lady was rude on the phone at reception when i had asked for things that were suppose to be added with our room. We also got the wrong suite and were not supplied with complimentary fruit and water basket as well as ipod dock, bathing oils and top floor view as promised. Eventually we did get some of the things we paid for as well as a discount as it was the hotels mistake.

Dated decor, smelly bathroom, cracked tiles etc. some of the TV channels had very poor reception.
