A beautiful hotel with amazing rooms. They were large and spacious, very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Washing machine/dryer in bathroom was really useful. Didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. Within walking distance to city centre and had lovely cafes nearby which did great English breakfasts. Room was very large for a studio. Everything was very clean and staff made us very comfortable. Had a big night out and accidently slept in past our checkout time (2hrs) however staff did not charge us. Thankyou very much Punthill Brisbane.
kaikki arvostelut » We arrived very late and the access to our room was quick and easy. The staff we met throughout our stay were brilliant! The room was very nice to put it mildly but one big bonus was the location; an easy walk into the city. Loved the amazingly comfortable bed! Awesome shower. Proximity to train station for airport train. Spotlessly clean. Quirky decor. Extra special touch from management for our wedding anniversary - thanks so much!. Good location near central station and downtown. Room was lovely and clean with good cooking facilities. There is a restaurant/bar just next door that sells very nice meals so you don't have to go far for tea. It was immaculate, modern, the staff were really friendly and it was excellent value for money. It is also located a few minutes from two major train stations and ten minutes (if that) from Queen Street Mall. Very nice location, walking distance to queen street. Room was clean, stylish and modern. Foyer and entrance is quite nice. Didnt get a chance to try the jack + hill cafe/bar. Overall happy with stay. Bit of noise from the lift at night. Walls around the elevator could use some attention, plaster and paint coming off. Very slow lift. It was good that a dishwasher was in the kitchenette but there were no instructions on how to use it. But when we couldn't get it going the cleaner operated it in our absence. Beds were not very comfortable small and blankets were of average quality. No included breakfast. Out stay was very enjoyable nothing that we did not like. Cigarette butt in ashtray on balcony. Only paid wi-fi in room available and the bed sheet had a little stain. leaving. Really noisy location. Was woken at 7am to VERY LOUD construction !!!! Lots of street noise too. I got very little sleep. Slow lift. Can't fault it, and I am in travel so a bit picky. Our room was right next to the Fire exit stairs. This became problematic when other guests on our floor kept using these stairs, with the door slamming loudly in the early hours of the morning waking us up. With reception closing at 8pm, there was no one to contact at the time to have this problem addressed. No negatives re property. Small bathroom, street noise quite audible but quickly moved to quieter room on request. In-house cafe or room service. The menu provided in the room did not have the option of room service on it and found out as leaving that room service was provided from the jack & hill down stairs. I was a bit dissappointed in not knowing about the room service which would if been very convenient after having had surgery. Nothing. Very noisy elevator, woke us up in the early hours. The property management should do something about it. Nothing. Single lift was frustratingly slow. Hall ways. No reception for a 10pm arrival. Stress Levels elevated when unable to get in the front door. However the phone access service was very good. Car parking charge. Parking should be part of the accommodation! not an extra. Thank you all the same.
