old town and the new areas, right at the beginning of the Lyabi Hauz
walk. It's still quite a walk to Registan sqare, about 10 mins, and
10 more mins to the Arc, then 10 more mins to get to the Samanides

When we walked through the door, the bell tinkled and we made a sound
somewhere between ‘wow’ and a sigh. We found ourselves in a circle with
arches all around us. The best thing is that Hotel Amulet’s been
restored but not ‘prettified’ and only plants and carpets soften the
sandstone. We reclined on cushions with welcome tea, fruit and sweetened
nuts, laid out enticingly on a beautiful round ceramic platter. Zula and
El were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and responsive to our requests, such as helping us book train tickets. Breakfast was extremely good and the courtyard was beautiful. Room was very cosy. Great location right by the synagogue.

The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was in the new part and had
underfloor heating, it was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast
was in a wonderful 19th century dining room and there were numerous
courtyards to sit out in. The location was wonderful and as I stayed in
the low season the cost was very good. I highly recommend it. -

The atmosphere at this hotel is wonderfull, and inside is impressive, because has all ceilings made in wood but with shap decoration on it. They have as well a really old dinning room, memorable to see it. It is very well locatted, and in a locals living neigbourhood. All rooms floors are with radiated temperature.
