Lo que la gente dice
The Motel was quite close to everything I wanted to do while in town. I could easily walk to all desired locations without any issues. The price was reasonable for the location during this time of year. I traveled alone so having only one bed in the room was a huge plus for me. I was also pleased that they were kind enough to take that into consideration while reserving my room and put me on the street level. todo comentarios »
The staff was great and they recommended great places to eat. I will definetly stay there again.
I liked that the room was clean and comfortable and came with a TV, cable, and free WI–fi.
Staff was accomodating and went out of their way to resolve a
booking problem.
Liked the location and the price per night.
In town for the opening weekend of the Sarasota summer horse racing meet. A great cast of characters! Some of the friendliest staff and fellow travellers. Enjoyed great late night joke telling sessions and guitar picking with the retiree crew from Connecticut that comes there annually. Bonus: Sam the Buglar from the Belmont and Sarasota race tracks blew a wake-up call in the morning to start the day. A large contingent of guys in town for a bachelor's party rounded out the group. Probably.
Affordable for the area. Downtown location. From other reviews I
expected a very basic motel, not in the very best of repair.
We did get one of the rooms with fridge and microwave.
It worked well for us as a place to sleep and shower for a night.
It was Saratoga Race Season so not much was available and it was a last minute booking But it was fine for one night and the location was great because you could walk to the downtown area for restaurants and parks.
I liked the location of the Motel in that it was within walking distance to the town.
Location was convenient for my trip. Cost was reasonable enough.
It was clean and in a great location.
The room was clean.
Right in downtown.
Vintage signs.
Plants in courtyard were pretty.
Nothing.
I am not very tall and the height and/or angle of the shower head was not adjustable.
The lights were out in the bathroom and I had to go to the desk for a replacement bulb. They had the bulbs and I replaced them.
I didn't like the fact that at check in I wasn't told where to get ice for the room.
When booking the room thru letsbookhotel.com, info was confusing on the actual
type of room. &Quot;Double Room" was misleading and only had 1 bed.
The bed had some ash on the pillows.
Sink could have been cleaner.
Our AC wasn't on when we arrived on a 90+ degree day. Quickly remedied by switching rooms.
Blinds and shower curtain should probably be replaced, but I
expected this.
Downtown location also means street noise. Bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper.
Shower only, no bathtub.
The 'continental breakfast' left a lot to be desired.
The rooms were quite small and not updated at all for the cost of the rooms. It was very noisy as you can hear everything from each room. I thought the place was very overpriced.
Room wasn't especially comfortable. Other guests were very noisy until after midnight. Absolutely no amenities at all.
the shower was a little rusty, the room dated to the point that we looked for bugs.
The staff was surly and didn't care about the occupants. Allowed drunk occupants to play music, sing, yell until 2:30AM and despite complaints from myself and several others did nothing to quiet them down.
Smelled like smoke even in a non-smoking room. No mattress cover. Provided only two thin worn out pillows for the bed. Over priced even by Racing season standards.
Very overpriced for a run down hotel thats way past its prime. Should
offer a complete refund. Welfare hotel that charges high prices during
track season.
