Two things:
#1 - I had inadvertently screwed up the reservation date! The young man tending the counter got it all straightened out - no prob.
#2 - Next morning I was looking for ideas of what to do with our afternoon in ALB - he suggested the zoo and printed out maps to show us how to get there. Great service!.
It was clean and it was quiet.

The staff were excellent.
They need to do some maintenance. Lock on outside door on the 2nd floor
did not work. Carpet at top of outside stairs worn down to board. Floor
under bathtub squeeked everytime we moved in the shower.
Condition of Room was run down and in need of remodel and repairs.
No elevator, breakfast not very good (egg dish?), toaster did not
work well.
Room was musty. Was given a handicapped room on 1st for because I had a
mountain bike. Room design is poor...esp bathroom door swing.
Was an older hotel and looked it. Does NOT deserve a AAA rating. t $75 a nite, is overpriced.
Old, in serious need of refurbishment, uncomfortable, public area smelled of old food, SERIOUSLY OVERPRICED.
