We were there mid-week so we didn't get to benefit from the complimentary breakfast. But they always had coffee available, access to a microwave and the in room fridge was great! We were close to the ice machine but never heard it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was an indoor garage that wasn't advertised but came in very handy when it rained! They should advertise about this feature, or tell us at check-in. But not a big deal. We will be back.
todo comentarios » Friendly staff, comfy and clean bed, powerful, hot shower, warm room, quiet. Hair dryer and iron were also useful. There is a bus stop to central Pittsburgh just outside, a light rail station 10 minutes walk up the hill, and a nice supermarket and a Starbucks just across the road. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motel 6 in Pittsburgh. The staff checked me in quickly and very friendly and the rooms/lobby looked exactly like the pictures online. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on a budget. I feel very glad to stay over there .I feel really comfortable I didnt find any weakness ,room was well maintained .but I if u can provide drinking water facility it will be perfect .as a whole I experienced a perfect stay . Mostly clean, great value, love new room design, great friendly staff. Comfortable spa. Close to Station Square. Liked having no windows - could sleep in without light coming in. This m-6 is converted from some higher level motel and as such has a lot of non-standard m-6 features. It is the only m-6 I have ever stayed in with an ironing board and iron!. Clean, comfortable and has a great bar attached to the hotel - really friendly bartenders and very cheap.. Would recommend popping into this bar if your staying here. Room was as good as hotel costing 2x as much. Bed was comfortable, Bathroom was spotless. Flat screen TV was unexpected and a great size. The staff was very helpful with are stay. Ticket costs between 2.5 to 3.25 dollars. Complimentary Tea/coffee avialbale in breakfast room. The information about the Motel indicated that the T-line was a 10 minute walk away. Not true, unless you're a billy goat! We had to drive to the T-line but there was free parking so not too bad. It was less than 10 minutes away by car but not really walking distance. Lobby/hallways smell like cigarette smoke, spa made high pitch whining noise while in use, tub fixtures looked dirty (wife associates that with overall cleanliness). Neighboring rooms and hallways seemed a little noisy - may have just been disrespectful guests though. The walk up Potomac Avenue to the trolley stop is a killer and will take more than the advertised 10 minutes that it takes downhill!. Manager didn't want to order me a taxi from the front desk, so instead gave me a number to call myself (only had a Canadian number so cost me a fortune) Not a big deal but she seemed quite abrupt unlike here friendly staff!. Parking was a little awkward. No window in room but I cam ussually rather late back from down town Pittsburgh. With trees outside South rooms, the dark furniture surfaces made the room dark. lights had to be used on bright sunny days. Multiple pillows, but all too fluffy to be supportive pillows. The bar had no food..limited parking. The mini fridge was hidden under the television stand, didn't find until later. The smoke smell and cig butts in window sill. N/A. no espn ,resteraunt didn't have food hill to subway wasn't fun to climb but was ok. Nothing. Need breakfast included perhaps. Our room did not have any windows and our wake up call never came when scheduled. Also, the on site restaurant did not have food... Kind of defeats the 'restaurant' title... The neighbors dogs barking until 1:00 (am) in the morning. did not have shower curtain and shampoo and conditioner. There is a bar at the hotel which I believe the locals use. There were not enough parking spaces and therefore had to park near a curb. It was also very noisy through the hallway with people coming and going out of rooms around 12:30-1:00am. Nothing. strange room! (no windows). Lobby a bit musty, the room, however, was not at all. Parking,seen a bug,the view. noisey neighbors and late night interruptions due to such. sometimes parking was at a premium. Very loud guests beside us and down the hall. Nothing -I would stay again next time i am in pittsburgh. had us booked for wrong days and after they fixed it room was about 50.00 more than what I was quoted. nothing negative. rowdy bar patrons running through halls late at night. Someone vomitted on my vehicle during the night. Parking was difficult, smelly smoking room. Should be an all non-smoking hotel. a little bit too far from the metro station. I didn't like the guest service agent, she didn't make me feel welcome upon arriving. My room was open and she did not let me have an hour earlier of 3 pm. The cigarette smoke I did not like either. hear others talking from other room. Key cards didn't work when first tried. Had to redo. no microwaves in all the rooms.
