it is a non smoking hotel but you can ask for a room with access to the pool very convenient for smokers. front desk is really friendly and helpful and respond to problems quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Nice to have door to pool area, though we didn't use it. Spacious room. Fairly well lit. Very nice room and was in budget. Great value for a hotel.
todo comentarios » Very curteous staff and budget friendlyl. Location, price, staff. The staff was very accommodating and the place was being remodeled. We had a Jacuzzi tub that was great. The staff were very friendly and hepful!!!. location. the water pressure was good in the shower. Nothing. would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. Very narrow shower/tub. Decor could use update. We always want more electric outlets for charging electronics. Cold air leak around the heater, but the heater was still effective in keeping the room warm. Very old, stained ceilings, ragged carpet. However I believe they were ready to remodel or in the process,. No local information in room, it was shabby but I understand they are beginning renovations. That there was remodeling going on. The door that was closest to my room wasn't at all secure. It really needs to be up graded - the bathroom ceiling, the walk ways. I didn't feel safe when I didn't need a card to get into the hotel. dirty carpet. no local tv channels. the room smelled like cigarettes, the furnishings were old, the carpet was disgusting, the towels were old and scratchy like sand paper. was afraid to look under the mattress for bed bugs... That place is creepy and it seems like it hasn't been remodeled since it was built. I stayed there because it was one of the last rooms available in Lawrence on a KU game night. It was strange and there were mysterious white stains on the floor next to the bed. The place appeared to be in renovation, the outside security entrance door did not work, and the carpets needs replaced. It reminded me of an extended stay Motel for the low income. I have my CC and I was packing the whole time and still didn’t feel safe. You can put fresh paint on a turd and it may look good, but you still have a turd. Room was FILTHY...coffee maker had old coffee filter with mold growing, stains on walls and shower curtain. Carpet was not vacuumed on arrival, toilet had used tissue in it, I would NEVER book with this hotel again, Id rather sleep in a tent.
