Lo que la gente dice
Our room was large and very comfortable. Beds were very nice. Our
room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel is
also walking distance to several very nice grocery stores and
restaurants. There is a Barnes and Noble that sits directly in front
of the hotel. It was a 10 minute drive to Cornell University, which
is why we were visiting.
The staff was down right awesome. I honestly underestimated this hotel.
It was very cozy, as me and t lady just want to find somewhere
inexpensive and clean. There was a nice eatery attached to the hotel but
we already had plans of eating somewhere else. I will most definitely
stay there again.todo comentarios »
The hospitality was bar none amazing! Considering I was on the job with little time for fun I wanted a great bed, comfort that I could count on. MCI delivered and then some. Not fancy but super value for a place to crash and not worry about a thing!!!.
Our greeting upon arrival (a bit early) was genuine and friendly. We were upgraded to new section. Had some questions about location of other Ithaca destinations - ably answered! Housekeeping staff very helpful!.
The Location for visiting my daughter at Ithaca College was great. It was clean and close to shopping, attractions, etc. Good size room (We upgraded to a room with Micro & frige). Pretty quiet too.
The price is really good. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. It is within walking distance of a lot of useful shops. It is close to Cornell. I really enjoyed the restaurant.
Location is very good. Room is large and could have accommodated more than the two of us.
The whole building is smoke-free and doesn't smell like smoke at all.
I would go again.
The location is strategic and the staff very supportive. I have no regret whatsoever for choosing the hotel.
Staff friendly. Nothing exceptional but everything was exactly as it should be. Good value for money.
Staff accommodated a very late check in (2:30 AM) Staff was friendly.
Room was clean and quiet.
Appreciate desk clerk granting a free upgrade since motel was not full that particular night.
Clean room, closeness to family we were visiting,
Friendly lady at the restraunt.
New wing offers best rooms as to size, accomodations, facilities.
The front office staff were very fun! Also the beds were awesome.
Easy quick check in, rooms clean and spacious, great location.
no problems - comfortable for a one night visit to Cornell.
Rooms are very spacious ,clean and have a lot of comforts.
functional bathroom, just as expected. quite and cozy.
The room was a nice size and the staff were friendly.
location was excellent and the staff was quite nice.
I was upgraded to a king -
large spacious room.
Reception staff Mr. George was helpful.
The convenience to local activities.
Very clean room and helpful staff.
Price is good, close to college.
Friendly staff. Spacious room.
Great team. Atention to detail.
Very helpful staff.
comfortable beds.
Clean and basic.
First of all, the place is not as bad as previous reviews suggest. All the hotels in Ithaca are outragiously overpriced, and so is this one. But is is less expensive than the others and if you need a place to sleep that is conceniently located near a 24hr supermarket, Barnes & Noble, etc,, and with fridge and microwave in the room, this a good pick. If you are not in town for Cornell or Ithaca college visits, suggest you stay in one of the lovely B & B's on Lake Seneca (30 min drive). Y.
Just a typical US budget motel, in the motel strip on the southwest side of Ithaca. The breakfast is fine, on those days when it is served (which are Monday, Saturday, and Sunday). And when it is not, you can go across the street to the Wegman, which is not just a good supermarket, but has a good "restaurant" section.
Close to main road connecting do Cornell University, malls and airport. Wireless worked well, room had a spacious fridge and microwave. Aircon functioned reliably (typical noise level for this class of hotel, i.e., not exactly quiet). Shopping malls right across the street, bus stop is also nearby.
I had a luxury room which was fine but expensive considering I stayed at the very nice Hilton Garden Inn for a lot less the night before .My sister had the regualr room which was a small motel room which was very tired.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Great value compared with expensive Downtown prices if you have a car or a prepared to get some exercise walking.
Wegman supermaket is close by. With in room refrigerator and microwave oven, you can save further on eating.
Basic motel for a very reasonable price. Large parking lot.
Excellent location, people in office nice.
convenience, accessibilty, shopping.
location, restaurant,staff. price.
Spacious, comfortable, clean.
Good location Good price.
Location.
Location.
We were extremely disappointed. The bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival. The shower drain clogged up so we had ankle deep water for the short time we had warm water. When we called to address the problems they wanted to send someone over after we had already showered. We just wanted to packup and get out. The continental breakfast consisted of English Muffins and butter not very warm and accomodating. Sorry backwards.
Walking distance to great restaurants & groceries. The woman at the
front desk was very fun.
Close to downtown; cheap.
Convenient location.
access to downtown.
The room was a little overpriced, but we were told by an employee of a
local store that the hotels in the area raise their rates during the
college visit season.
House keeping kind of phoned it in...There were areas of film around faucets that have not been touched in a long time. I am picky about these details. I would not call this a deal breaker whatsoever!.
No elevator, ok with us but not some folks. Bit of a cooking odor in corridor.
The price was fine until we booked it for graduation weekend, then it was pretty expensive (but so was every other hotel). No pool.
Most places have breakfast included. There was not even a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast.
None, unanticipated. However, the hotel could do better by ensuring that the wifi works efficiently in all the rooms.
Nothing.
A bit dated on decor and TV.
The lady at check-in acted like she could care less if we stayed there or not.
Same lady had no interest in helping us getting internet access.
The bed was pretty much butted up to the wall and it was a little unnerving, but the price was right so I can't complain!.
No Breakfast during week.
hotel office is not easy to find, kinda dark.
room needs some updating, but for price was very comfortable.
I would have liked more of a selection for the continental breakfast.
Nothing.
WiFi only available in some rooms (more expensive).
need better Wi-fi connections.
Continental breakfast was bare bones, but that's to be expected.
The breakfast was indeed not much. Go to the Carriage House (near Cornell) for an amazing breakfast menu, and one of the best burgers we ever had.
The WiFi internet service was very unreliable.
Proximity to main road causes traffic noise when window is open.
You were definitley paying for the special Cornell Parents weekend price.
It is a lengthy walk from the Downtown area - but that is reflected in the cheaper tariff. Area is somewhat industrial.
Bathroom shows its age, but is clean. My son had a little problem to turn on the water for the shower; a label says 'pull the knob', but it was really hard to pull; you need to twist and pull.
It's a simple motel so no luxury. Bathroom rather poor without heating. Small heating in room. Slow wifi.
Very uncomfortable bed, terrible shower, wished there were more pillows.
House cleaning could have been better.
facilities, rooms.
Internet did not work.
No light in shower area We did not receive maid service one day.
No iron in the bedrooms. When we called for iron , we were told to come
to the lobby at that early hour. Mind you we need to go outside before
we can get to the lobby.
Weak Wifi.
No internet, rooms were clean but run down.
Proximal to the town and not far from the College which is why we were even in Ithaca.
There was no soundproofing between rooms and I bet the couple next door
had no idea just how well we could hear their late-night hijinx let
alone every step on the stairs by whomever. The wifi was as outdated and
hit-or-miss as the decor. Fashion police disaster. Memo to self: book
early next year when it's parents' weekend at Cornell! Over-
priced and under-sound-proofed.
The rooms stink, the carpet is stained, and it hasn't been updated in several decades.
Expensive
Unfriendly staff at check in.
First room assigned had a very disgusting smell. Wonder why this was even allowed to be allocated to guests.
Main floor hall ways not cleaned well.
breakfast consisted of packaged snacks and bagels.
