Queens Lodge Guest House - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
close to sea-front, local shops and railway station. Very flexible booking in times. nice quiet location.
I choose this hotel because of its value per night and its location as I was relocating to the area.
all aspects of the guest house and facilities.
Near every think you needed bus trains.
Friendly welcome.
location.
The room was fine. There are not many places where you can have a double room with a sea view for only £40.
The Staff at the Kingsway hotel were lovely-really helpful. todo comentarios »
Friendly reception on arrival.
Clean , quiet and comfortable.
location, car parking.
Staff very helpful. Bathrooms were clean
Beds were comfortable.
That the lodge was attached to a hotel and when I complained they moved me into the main hotel.
Good location, close to beach.
Main hotel reception was OK and receptionist was polite.
Nothing.
staff running washing machines in the laundry room that was next to mine at 8 P.M.
My room was directly above the main door and people liked letting the front door bang. Maybe a spring on the door may help close it more smoothly. If the main Kingsway Hotel has a lot of guests you end up parking your car somewhere else. I stayed ten nights and one night the main hotel was busy so my car was parked somewhere else.
nothing.
There was not enough plug sockets in room.
lack of parking.
It was a very basic room hence the price but I actually didn't feel safe as a solo traveller. I should have stayed at the main hotel: The Kingsway.
communal bathroom. rather a long wait for breakfast on my final day.
Could do with a towel rail maybe !.
Bed uncomfortable, lack of electrical sockets for personal equipment, tea and coffee supplied in room very sparse.
communal room television non functional. Food poor value for money. Two of the rooms smelled unpleasant - like stale vomit in the carpet
When we returned from our evening out, there were no parking spaces outside guest house, despite us having 4 of the 6 rooms.
Rooms were all same price but had varying facilities available in them, there was no standardisation of facilities.
Quilt covers were clean but had quite a lot of what looked like bleach stains on them.
The room was cold. The bedding smelt musty. The television and kettle were broken. There was a smell in the hallway. The spare blanket was old and had no warmth in it.
Small double bed.
No clear sign post to indicate Lodge.
Entrance smelt like old dank smoke. Walls yellowing and damp.
Limited parking.
Windows didn't close or lock properly. TV didn't work. No hot water at sink. Shelf by sink wobbly and paint peeling from it.
Can only describe as poorly maintaned house which had beds in each room and locks on doors.
In no way welcoming.
FAR too expensive for what it was.
Entrance, corridors (smell) , stairs(dirty) room(very basic, view of rubbish and old mattress) Not good value at £40.
Everything.
I didn't like this hotel at all. It's a rip off, for a single
room it's £40 but yet for a double it's £85, how does that work.
