  We have stayed before and the standards have varied but we were very comfortable. Warn against over zealous staff. We were challenged for "running" on the first morning. - room decor was lovely with a clear view over the cathedral.The food was of very good quality and reasonably priced, the staff were friendly and helpful

  First impressions were lovely. Clean airy welcoming appartment. Easy access to the centre of Wells. Free parking in the Hotel. Would definately stay again and next time bring the children as it suited us to come and go as we please without being tied to hotel meal times. - Excellent location, quiet, comfortable, well equipped, nice decor

  Hotel staff were very friendly and most helpful. The lift had broken so the staff insisted on helping carry our bags from the car (I am disabled through spinal injuries so not able to carry) up the stairs to the room. The room and beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good providing you didn't have the scrambled eggs... lo que la gente dice » but the sausages were the best that I have tasted in year's! Many thanks to all involved. - We liked the whole package really, the Hotel is very convenient for Wells, with a bus stop outside the door!!! As parking is horrendous, as is the driving within the City, this is most useful, with connections to Bath etc. Everyone at the Hotel was friendly and very helpful, the food in the Bistro was good and reasonably priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our two days there, and would definitely return. Definitely good value.

  I liked the newness-feeling and elegance of Room 6. The breakfast was exceptionally good - with plenty of variey and all food being of a high quality, cooked and presented well. The coffee was excellent.
