Breakfast was extensive and the proprietor was helpful and informative. I felt really comfortable here.

The room itself was charming and spotlessly clean and as a frequent traveller I had two of the best nights sleep I've had in many a night in a small hotel. I would highly recommend the Standbridge Hotel to all my frien - Being a sole female traveller (for a two night stay while I sat exams nearby) I was extremely relieved to be welcomed in by Kate (the proprietor) who I felt made it her priority to make sure I was comfortable, informed and reassured throughout my visit. The bed was a dream to sleep in and the breakfast was more than substantial with Bill even helping to defrost my windscreen one morning! Thank you again for a lovely stay.
