Weald Cottage is a picturesque bed & breakfast in rural Kent. It is 8 miles south of Maidstone and features spacious gardens, a seasonal heated swimming pool and free ample parking. Free Wi-Fi is also available in public areas. The rooms at Weald Cottage are equipped with a flat-screen TV, Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, as well as soft white cotton bathrobes. 1 room features an en suite bathroom and the others a private external bathroom. Guests can choose from a number of breakfast choices, including full English options, which feature local free range eggs, or locally baked bread with organic preserves and marmalades. All produce is sourced locally whenever possible. Staplehurst Rail Station is less than a mile from the cottage and Sissinghurst Castle is only 6 miles away. Guests can enjoy golf at the Staplehurst Golf Centre, which can be driven to in 4 minutes and The Hop Farm Family Park is only 11 miles from the cottage.

The welcome when we arrived. The King room with en-suite wet room, which intrigued me when I saw it in the website and was not disappointed when actually saw it. Comfortable bed, quiet surroundings. Excellent breakfast using fresh produce. Would go again. This was the highlight of our tour, Suzanne is a very special person and her generous husband, too. Pleasant small twin room. We even used the pool on a cool day and enjoyed it. Very peaceful atmosphere (chicken clucking in the garden), relaxing stay.
todo comentarios » Cottage style and still reasonably spacious. All the extras, tea/coffee, fruit, bathrobes etc and bathroom facilities including plenty of hot water. Very welcoming and a first class breakfast. Eggs from the garden! Easy parking, easy to find. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The biscuits on arrival were a nice touch as was the attention to detail - fruit and bottled water provided. The breakfast is very good indeed, including eggs from the owner's chickens!. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was yummy with eggs from the free range chickens running around the garden.Sitting in padded chairs on the lawn with a glass of wine in the warm evening sunshine- lovely. The friendly welcome, the simple style and elegance of the room, the homemade cookies with the tea and coffee, the wonderful breakfast selection and home cooked breakfast. The attention to the smallest of details. The excellent local eggs, fruit juice and home made bread was a delight at the first class breakfast. The double room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Suzanne could not have been more helpful. A very friendly, helpful and accommodating host. Superb room with some lovely special touches. Excellent locally-sourced breakfast. Private parking.Top quality stay. Thoroughly recommended. Suzanne was very welcoming and offered to book an evening meal for us at a local pub. Room was a good size. Free wi fi is a definite plus Breakfast was amazing. Weald cottage is a delight and ideal for one or two nights, Suzanne and Val, were very helpful, and attentive. Well worth a stop when touring this part of Kent. The room was clean and inviting. Suzanne made us very welcome. Breakfast was a delight with many local sourced products, Including eggs from their chickens. The whole experience was great. The wi-fi upstairs was non existent but they moved me to a different room. Thank you. very friendly atmosphere nothing was too much trouble. had all three rooms booked for family and every one was very well presented. Very friendly welcome. The room was spacious, well equiped and the double bed was extremely comfy. Breakfast was excellent. The room, the breakfast, and the caring hostess. It was lovely overall, and so convenient for our visit to Sissinghurst. Everything was lovely and the owner did all she could to make you feel welcome and looked after. Host was very helpful and pleasent. nothing was too mmuch trouble. Every comfort is cater for. Very friendly , great place to stay , everthing was there and more than expected . Good location, nice breakfast, very friendly hosts. Great place, lots of parking, pleasant hostess. The room was towards the busy road. slightly noisy main road, but not visible. Mattress was a little on the soft side but that is very much a matter of personal taste. The bathroom is across the hall (gowns are supplied) But it's large with plenty of towels and toiletries. There were a good selection of teas in the room, but only a pair of each type but as we only like breakfast tea, we could only have a cup each. we were only there for 2 days. Nothing - leaving!. one very small thing, cottage,close too main road,but wont put me off visiting again differently not.. Located slightly out of town. could not fault anything. bathroom was across the hall from the dining room. Bath robes are a definite essential!. Cottage is by a busy road. Leaving. Nothing. Poor wi-fi reception upstairs. no dislikes slight traffic noise during day but did not affect sleeping. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. No good food pubs or eating places nearby. Everything tends to shut on sunday and Mondays. There was nothing I did not like. Really nice stay, wish we had had more time, but my partner had to go to Silverstone. Some audible noise from other residents but not that disruptive. shower and toilet was in one wet room. This meant that the floor would be wet after taking shower and be invonvenient to use the wet room(e.g. for toilett). We have decided not to take shower. Nothing. cold water in the shower in the morning (was last one to shower).
