YHA Beer is 8 minutes’ walk from the village of Beer, which is situated on the 95-mile long Jurassic Coast, England's first natural World Heritage Site. The hostel offers scuba diving courses for beginners as well as experienced divers.
Mackerel fishing and fossil hunting can be enjoyed on the local beach, which is just 15 minutes’ walk. Pecorama Pleasure Gardens are 0.5 miles away and feature the Beer Heights Light Railway and an exhibition of model railways.
A 24-hour reception, garden and self-catering kitchen are featured at YHA beer, as well as an on-site restaurant, shop and TV lounge. Free private parking is also provided, and guests can make use of a library, meeting room and cycle storage.

Excellent value accommodation and food. Also self catering. Comfortable lounge, friendly staff and guests. Great garden and BBQ area. Only 6 in a dorm, private rooms also available.
Second time visiting. It is just a lovely hostel. Great building and great garden for the kids to run around in. Really relaxing. Won't be the last time we stay there!.
