I loved everything about my stay at Sylvern House, The owner was so friendly and helpful from start to end. Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in an English B&B!! Freshly cooked to order and hot! Our room (No 4) was huge and very clean and comfortable, in fact the hotel place was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend The Cordelia to everyone. What a find! I can honestly say this is one of the nicest b&b's we have every stayed in. From the lovely warm welcome and delicious homemade scone to the lovely clean and nicely decorated room and extremely comfy bed. were shown to room 2 on the 1st floor and we were not disappointed, the
room was tastefully decorated,spotless and the bed was lovely and comfy.
The breakfast was very nice with a vast choice of fresh fruits and
cereals followed by a delicious cooked breakfast served by john, the
friendliest host we have ever met. We are already planning to return in
a few weeks as it was such a nice place to stay. Thank you mark and sue.

We liked everything. The friendliness of the welcome (makes a big difference), the room (spotlessly clean), the location (lovely stroll to the beach or town) - all perfect. We've stayed in a few places in Scarborough and this was easily the best. Next time we'd like to stay for a week.

We asked for a taxi number to ring one for the evening and Ian (Proprietor) said don't bother I'll take you to where you want to go to ... excellent ... The breakfast is cooked to order, so don't expect to get it in a hurry (not a problem) ... and when you get the breakfast steaming hot its really lovely :-) ... Thank you Ian and Morana
