This place is an absolute gem. Very welcoming and friendly. The room was immaculately clean.
Slept really well in a comfy bed. The ensuite and shower were spotlessly clean.
Food was great, especially the breakfast which properly set me up for a long day.
Highly recommended. -

located in a rundown area of the city but quite. save as we stayed. a little far from city centre but since we were revisiting a church nearby, it's not a deal. nice sitting room on ground floor with a bay window and sunshine which made us home. nice breakfast. we were allowed to use microwave in kitchen.

Rooms were very clean and very spacious, even though it was a shared bathroom and shower room they were cleaned to a high standard and very modern. The Manager was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The bar staff were great and very helpful. Me and my friends loved our stay here and cant wait to get back down! -

Have always liked the location of the hotel and have stayed there several times before, but this was the first time in the Lodge. My friend and myself were going to a funeral in Sunderland we got lost and phoned the owner and she came to pick us up in her car and she let us leave our cases at the house and gave us a room to change in to save us taking our cases to the cremetorium before we travelled back to Scotland.I would highly recommend staying there for value and friend

Mowbray Guest has a bright appearance with a lovely selection of 'artwork' to add colour and interest. It occupies a peaceful, location save the sea-gulls. Alison, and Keith at the weekends, are engaging generous hosts who put their guests first. They serve a really good breakfast and the facilities in the whole house functioned well. We'll certainly go back if in Sunderland again and recommend it as great value for money.

we had the executive suit on first floor it was a twin room with a massive bathroom with double shower and bath it was beautifully done out ,very clean and comfy beds . no noise or disurbance . plenty of resturants just near by . 5 nins walk to beach . breakfast was spot on . so was the staff Janet & Peter very nice would go again xxxx -

For a guest house in a large city this was an excellent choice. There was on site parking which is a bonus as parking in Jesmond is difficult It is close to the city centre but also with easy routes to the coastal areas. As soon as I arrived at the Jesmond Park Hotel I was made to feel welcome. I stayed as a solo traveller and the hotel provided me with everything I needed. The free parking was very handy, as was the free wi-fi. The cooked full English breakfast was also great, and the staff who served me were very helpful and friendly; recommending some great restaurants nearby.
The room was also well equipped, tea and coffee etc. and very clean with nice decor. Everything was brilliant!
