I am sorry to know the Watermill is under threat. It is one of very few hotels in Paisley. It is comfortable and friendly and the room clean and fresh. The location by the river was a real bonus. Effort to sustain and improve would turn this from Good hotel to a very good one. It has my vote of confidence -

the evening meal and service was excellent, it was also a lovely relaxed feeling in the dining room, not often found in hotels. The breakfast was excellent with the same warm friendly approach from the staff. the room (3) was very good size, and very clean. good selection on tray.

We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be! Nice bright clean rooms. A great view out across the sea towards Holy is. Breakfast had a good choice of menu. I tried the porridge with whisky - hmmmm. The bathroom whilst small was light and bright and clean.
Beds were comfy.
One thing weve noticed is the bedcovers are so hot - the room temperature was warm with the bright sunny day and although the windows were open as far as they could go it was still very warm. Like a lot of places in the UK everything is geared for heating and not coolin

as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

we were treated brilliantly from check in to checkout by the same member of staff who also served breakfast .Chris was very helpfull when we first arrived showing us all the places we were wanting to visit on a map which invaluable to us.He showed interest in us and at breakfast he asked how we had enjoyed our night .He was very good his job and

Very big rooms!!!! So you have a lot of space for your luggage etc. You can really feel and see that this is a brand new hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return! PS, they don't have a car park, but it is not a problem as they have a lot of vey cheap parking facilities just around the corner.

clean bedding was everyday and the venue offered food and refreshments when required.
car parking appeared safe and secure and local facilities met all our needs.
