  Friendly reception. Value for money. Travelling with two teenagers going to alton towers. Plenty of towels and some toiletries, tea and coffee. more than we have had at some more expensive travel lodges! 30 minutes door to door on quiet rds. Good food at pub 3 miles away as recommended. People on some of these reviews need to be fair abou - I needed a bed for the night for a business meeting next day. This was ideal, free wi fi, nice small room with en suite. Staff waiting and looking out for me on arrival. Continental breakfast in morning great for me at only £3.50. I just need a coffee to get going , toast kept coming and even given a doggy bag to take some muffins for journey home.
