Very helpful staff, good size bedroom, good location, meals were very good - both in the restaurant and in the bar. - Clean, quiet, food was excellent and the staff were friendly, helpful and easy on the eye.

Precio y existencia d habitacion para 4 personas. - I particularly liked the friendliness of the staff that dealt with us, as they were very welcoming and helpful, plus the overall cleanliness and quality of the hotel. It was also very quiet too consdiering that there were a lot of people staying there.Very good value for money! - Excellent value f

The Reception Staff were very welcoming, and the services in the hotel were just as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. It was lovely sunny day when we arrived, and the main house, gardens and lake were stunning. We had a 'superior room' which had windows overlooking the garden, it was large and airy, complete with fridge, TV, large bathroom. The

The service was excellent. I had read mixed reviews prior to visiting and was a little anxious as some were rather harsh about the decor and restaurant service. We were very pleasantly surprised.

Concerns over the heating in our lovely room were addressed straight away and we were given a suite at no extra cost which was superb. The breakfast was of a very high standard and I would recommend this superbly situated hotel to everyone.

Beautiful venue. Extremely polite staff even at 1am when I checked in drunk after a friends wedding. The gentleman on reception called me sir despite me staggering in with beer down the front of my suit looking anything but a sir! Luxury rooms great setting in the cheshire countryside. Tad expensive tho -

The meet and greet on arrival from bar staff initially to manager who took us to the suite (which was, to put it mildly, spacious and well appointed), and explained about parking. I loved my stay the suite was lovely ,view on to the street below ,staff very friendly ,food very good . Great breakfast best yogurt after 3 weeks travelling , Bathroom excellent. The lounge area of the suite is original Tudor black beams and very uneven floors it was great . I arrived with a very sore knee they helped out by getting ice and drinks brought to our room thank you so much . Also a nice touch freshly made biscuits and brownies left with the coffee making .

The staff were very friendly, room was a nice size, very clean with everything you would need in a room. hotel itself was very interesting and worth exploring. - Staff at front office and house keeping were extremely polite, friendly and nice.

The sauna, steam room and swimming facilities in this hotel are great.Even better than some five star ive stayed in. Close to shopping and ashort ride to wellington's bars and clubs. - The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, an excellent hotel and i'm sure i'll stay there again.

The food was excellent, the staff were obviously well trained and friendly, there were plenty of small parts that added up to a very pleasant stay such as milk in jugs and not cartons, somewhere for the cartons at breakfast, good quality serviettes at mealtimes, clean corridors where it was difficult to keep clean (we ran a finger along a dado rail!) and, joy of joys there was a Country & Western night in their extension and not one sound escaped!

Got the timings for breakfast confused but the barman and the waitress with the beaming smile were very accomadating and nothing was too much bother for either member of staff, just sorry I didn't get there names to give them a proper mention.
