  The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. It was so lovely and comfortable that we did not really want to leave the hotel for the concert / meeting friends that was the reason for the visit. Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

  La hospitalidad - Easy to check in, made to feel very welcome. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Room was very comfortable and the tea and coffee was very welcome!   What I liked most was the hotel owners' hospitality. I really felt at home during my stay. The eggs, bacon and potato scones cooked by Cathy were superb. Cathy and Angus were always available to give directions. I also liked the retro atyle of my big room.
