  The hotel quality is great. Huge beds - everything well maintained and good quality. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. Great bar attached to the hotel.   This was our first trip to Edinburgh. We were hoping to book a hotel closer to the city centre, but as ours was a last minute booking, we were limited for choice. As it turned out, the Britannia was just perfect for us and we're now very pleased we chose it. My partner is a University student studying Fine Art, and we were on he - The price was nice and the sleep was good: these are main criteria for a good stay. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!

Our room was spacious and included anything one might need for extended stays. Very central location at the 'Lawnmarket' on the 'Royal Mile' in the Old Town, in the shadow of the castle itself - great for sight- seeing most within a very short walking distance and only a short bus ride to others.

  I really enjoyed my stay at the Seahaven hotel. Staff was a great example of Scottish hospitality. Breakfast was cooked individually, room was very clean, with en-suite toilet and a shower.
