I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.

quick and effortless time it took to check in being told about the amenities at the hotel the location of the hotel was ideal for us to travel around Scotland for the four days that we stayed - Super room - better than we have normally had in the past.

The staff were excellent we a minor problem and this was solved with speed and efficency. This is a hidden gem of a place with good food and excellent views of the hills and the golf course the gym and pool were also well maintained. The hotel spa is the best that we have ever been to, The menu was very good with a particularly nice breakfast - overall we were very pleased with our choice for this hotel for the weekend.

Liked the friendly staff - receptionist told me a about the history of the hotel, bar/restaurant host went out of his way to be helpful. Overall I'm very pleased and glad we stayed there. I'd come and stay again.

After i had booked our room,i received a phone call from Gary the receptionist,who enquierd if we were part of the Wedding party that they were haveing,when we said we were not,we were givein an upgrade & room on the front of the hotel,so as not to be inconvenienced by the party,which my wife & i thot was a fine example of a hotel looking after all of their guests,& a welcome drink was a nice touch,breakfast was exllent & the evening meal was quite superb.

Definitely a 5 Star Bed and Breakfast. The owners were good company, the food was very good. The bedroom was roomy and the bed comfortable. The communal room was relaxing. Very roomy accomodation. We stayed two nights and definitely will return and have no hesitation in recommending it.

As 2 mature gay married women, Tina & Graham were 2 of the {but professional} most friendly & sincere people one could possibly meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was fresh and varied. The facilities were superb. A beautiful garden one could sit in, with again, many various areas to do so.
