What is there not to like? The staff are simply brilliant - it's really nice to be recognised and addressed by name. We had a great room with a sea view. The bars are very good as are the restaurants and yes you really must try the Governors Indian cuisine at its best!!
We could go on - best thing to do is to go and try this hidden gem in the Chan

Excellent facilities, great service and good food. A good selection of places to eat and drink and nice outdoor seating areas as well as a pool. Very much a luxury hotel which we could not fault, except for the location which was our choice.

The room was lovely with a very large, comfortable bed. The toiletries were good quality, and we had a good supply of tea making facilities and biscuits. The hotel was more like a 5 star and the staff so friendly, they all made us feel so welcome.The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. We only ate out two nights out of 9 and the hotel food was far superior. Olga was an absolute treasure, she looked after us so well, I would recommend this hotel.

Abbey Court Hotel was perfect for our needs. The wife of the owner of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and made me a sandwich in the middle of the day when the kitchen was obviously not open. She knew I was having a horrible day and was so sweet, purely out of the graciousness of her own heart. What a lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and personal.

The rooms were fab, perfect, staff all very friendly, Malcolm was brilliant, doggy receptionist was cute! :-) Food was fab, place amazing, relaxing, enjoyable, peaceful, restful and I would def come again in 2014!!! Cant wait to try pool in the summer! thank you! ;-) -

Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

The hotel is in a great location - great views and within very easy reach of lively beaches, airport and St Peter Port. The staff are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. Though not the most modern of hotels, the price is fantastic and we would definitely come back for a cheap yet lovely weekend getaway.

My room was comfy and clean and the bed was beautiful! The complimentary breakfast in the nearby Abbey Court Hotel was absolutely delicious! The manager was very helpful and Charlie the Boxer dog was an adorable addition to reception. The young woman employed there was delightful. -
