  Single room to roadside was clean and tidy, enough space, shower and toilet nearby on the aisle, but for privat use only, was clean and ok, breakfast in the Pub downstairs was continental, a little bit simple but sufficent (coffe/tea, toast, ham, cheese, cereals, juice, fruits), staff friendly and polite. Situated good (10min walk from Kilburn Und... lo que la gente dice » erground Station, 20min Jubilee Line ride to city center), Kilburn is very cosmopolite, so there is plenty opportunity nearby for excellent dining (or - Room was very spacious, and even had a cute old fashioned stove as an 'original feature' I assume. Wi-Fi was excellent. Table and chairs so you can eat in the room and not be on the bed which was nice. Also we had a sink, fridge, and stove etc in our room. Would've come in handy on a longer stay. Overall it proved a good option for us, as we have been to London several times before, maybe not the best for a first time visitor.

  The hotel is set at the side of the Grand Union Canal and we had a lovely walk along there seeing lots of wildlife. The evening meal we had was delicious and good value for money. Our room had an en-suite (we had a loft room, room 8) and was very clean. Tea & coffee facilities were provided but they forgot the cups. Our breakfast was lovely. A 20 min walk from Southall train station, through a very ethnic diverse high street, but the hotel itself is in a lovely - It was clean and comfortable, really a set of rooms above a pub. The landlord cooks the meals and they are quite good British fare. Someone said there was no breakfast; well this is not true, I had one most days I was there. If you want a homely comfortable environment where you can relax versus a sharp hotel, this is a very good place to go.
