The hosts were fantastic and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was stunning, absolutely spotless (I had the large double room), it has its own balcony and seating area, lots of little extras that make a difference. The bed was so comfortable that I did not want to leave it. Breakfast was flexible and at a time to suit with a range of food to suit a variety of dietary needs. The hosts, Debbie and Peter, were really lovely and made us feel very
welcome. The breakfast was delicious and a good price. I wish we
could've stayed longer as it was a really lovely room with a huge
bed and sitting area in the bedroom. There's also a communal area
downstairs which is very homely.
The beach is only a short walk from the B&B and we walked to Bournemouth beach in the evening which took around 30 minutes.

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel! The owners and staff were very friendly, interesting and helpful. We were made to feel welcome instantly. They also had excellent knowledge of the local area and gave us good recommendations for eating out. We stayed in the stunning and very luxurious "red" room, which was large, clean and comfortable. We liked the olde worlde feel to the hotel but without the feeling of dilapidation that you often find in older hotel buildings. We had comfortable brass and iron beds (unusual for a hotel) which I really enjoyed. The food was good, staff friendly and helpful and the location on the edge of Blandford was excellent.

The hotel is described as a Restaurant with Rooms. It is a small independent hotel owned by the excellent chefs who have great experience of working in luxury hotels worldwide. They provide good accommodation with attention to detail. All staff were both friendly, helpful and professional.
The restaurant is the jewel, The guys know how to cook and present superb food with an extensive wine list.
