I normally do not write reviews but after staying at Fernside I was determined to write one. It was the best B&B we ever stayed in. It was ever so clean, recently renovated. The bed was so comfortable, the highest quality as if the hosts bought it for themselves. Linda and Ian were the perfect hosts, very thoughtful. Attention was given to every little detail. The Briarfields was extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and welcoming and made you feel very at ease. There was also a vast selection for breakfast cooked to perfection and the hosts were very accommodating with special requests. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Briarfields if you are planning a stay in Torquay.
