I booked this quite late after having a browse on the letsbookhotel.com, I read some reviews, looked at the location and was great. I got a txt on the day of arrival to ask when I was going arrive (nice touch) and when arrived felt very welcoming. The lodge is well decorated, clean, and they've even got a friendly dog. Room and facilities were fantastic, great shower, very comfortable bed, light clean room with plenty of areas for clothes to go, owners were the best part, were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable, even gave my friend a lift to the wedding, if we were going to miss breakfast they gave little take away breakfast bag. Would stay here again.

It was me and my partners first time to Cornwall, and our 2nd yr anniversary, we were late getting in but called ahead to let Chris and Julie know, from that first call till we left Chris and Julie were amazing. wow the lewinnick lodge is amazing, everything about our stay was fantastic, we stayed for two nights in the sunrise room. huge room with views over fistral beach, room spotless and the king size bed was very comfortable, bose I-pod dock, walk n shower and roll top bath by the window, breakfast included and was very good, we had dinner on both nights and was also excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful, fresh milk delivered to our room for tea and coffee if you want good food, great

We loved everything, the hotel was spotless, the room and views of their garden were so beautiful. The breakfast there had so much choice, even kippers if you liked. Clive and Dorette made you feel so welcome, and could not do enough, I could have stayed longer, a perfect place to stay, and central to all the places we wanted to visit, Mazzaron, Mousehole, Port Isaac, Looe Lands End. Would highly recommend Pencubitt Country House, we have never stayed in such a lovely home, all your needs

Bedroom excellent,well designed interior with both bath and large separate shower. Superb views over countryside to the sea from our room. Pippa was very helpful explaining the local restaurants in Padstow and the surrounding area. We had a great time and sad that it wasn't longer. We look forward to returning soon.
