Lovely venue to stay, right in the centre of town opposite the old post office, a national trust property well worth a visit. 3 bedroom flat adjacent to pub meant plenty of room for our family, plus it was quiet since it wasn't directly above the pub. Beds were large and comfortable, plenty of pillows. Breakfast was included and it was fab. We had dinner at the pub as well and it was excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly. We decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they worked out a spot for us!

The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable; we also had a great view from our window. We enjoyed perfectly cooked breakfasts from a dining room with a beautiful view over the beach and harbour. The hosts, Brian and Julie were very friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be staying at Seashells again. -

We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

Our room was very clean and whilst not too large it suited us well enough. Lovely bathroom and shower. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast: yoghurt, fresh fruit, preserves, cereals, toast and cooked. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We would certainly return. -

All of the staff were very welcoming, and work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Newquay was a five minute walk from the hotel and another five to the beach.

Everything there was nothing that either me or my partner could fault. Oh expect the size of the towels but that is more of a prefrence. However apart from that, The owners were very lovely, and wonderful, making you feel at home. Breakfast was the best breakfast i have had any where. we are defenitly going to be staying again :) -

... lo que la gente dice » stay, just outside Newquay so it's a little more peaceful with Lusty Glaze Beach a 5mins walk away. The property is kept really clean and the owners John and Kay are really friendly and helpful. We have now been twice and plan to return again in the near future.
Oh and the Breakfast is spot
on.

The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met at a B&B. You get a full English Breakfast that is very good as well as fresh fruit, cereal, and yogurt. There is a park across the road for kids to play and the beach is very close. I would take a car or bus to the beach when traveling with small children as the hill is very steep. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. Amazing people and very patient with our young children.

This is an add-on to the Beachcliff Hotel and checkin was there. So there were no staff on duty. Entry was by code to the Guest Lodge. The staff did not mind that we used the sitting areas in the main hotel. Not sure if this is a good or bad point.

The owner and manager of the Aquarius B&B was extremely good at giving us all the help we needed, from trying to find the B&B in the dark and driving rain to what to expect on our first surfing experience. She is good at making you feel comfortable whatever time of day it is, and nothing was too much trouble.
The spa bath that came with our room was fantastic, as was the breakfasts. The rooms are bright and comfortable beds.
