  Outstanding location for visiting the Cornwall area and Port Issac. The best restaurant within miles and extremely courteous service. The number one choice to stay if visiting Port Issac. It is about a 5 minutes drive to the Port Isaac parking areas which you will have to park in even if you stay in one of the 3 downtown hotels. Big Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside.   Owners could not haveneen more helpful and welcoming. We were walking the cosstal path and stayed in many b&b's/guest houses during the time. We had tead dreadful reviews pn the Gallery and, based on tese, were very worried about what we would find. We need not have worried. The Gallery is a wonderful place to stay. We booked cooked breakfast, with one guest needing to be gluten free, and every effort was made to make sure that this - Location was perfect for exploring Port Isaac and walking on the coastal trail. We stayed in the "suite" - have no clue why it is called a suite unless reference to "en-suite". Just a small bedroom. A nice table to watch out on the harbor and street. Overlooks the old school house and directly across the harbor from the "doc martin" house.
