The lady who made breakfast was so friendly and made us feel at home. Total relaxation for a much needed break. Little touches that should be mentioned ... Fab bathroom with all creature comforts including cotton buds, toiletries, luxury towels. Well stocked tea & coffee facilities with added chocolate! A great selec

  We stayed here with my parents and had a wonderful time. The rooms were lovely, the staff were friendly, and the food/drinks were excellent value. The location was perfect for us - close enough to Petworth that you could drive in quickly, and there was plenty of parking space. The open fire and sofas were a treat on a November night. My husband ac... lo que la gente dice » cidentally left his jumper behind but the staff kindly posted it - many thanks for that! - The whole atmosphere of the Inn was one of friendliness you felt welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. the food was fantastic and especially the seafood range, prices were very reasonable and the rooms where decorative and pleasant bathrooms fantastic there were little touches which even some large hotels forget. Altogether a very good experience.

  The whole set up is " elegant". - The chance to stay in one of the most pleasant but unusual hotels I have ever been to. Sleeping in an old Pullman carriage in an old station in the middle of the countryside was so relaxing.
