The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

I loved everything about The Boacardo and would recommend it to anyone. They went out of their way to give us an early check in, helped by holding our bags after our stay while we did a tour, recommended a good food pub, offered adapters, had quality toiletries, etc. Beds were comfortable, and temperature could be controlled by us.This was a delightful hotel which I would stay in again.

The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. I liked everything. I have stayed in 5 different hotels over the summer and none of them were anywhere near the standard of the Remont. It was not plush or luxurious but a place where i felt immediately at home . The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good. Nothing fancy just good quality and beautifully cooked. Lovely room, very comfortable bed and great ensuite facilities. Nice kitchenette in the room also. Breakfast basket of muffins, cereal, breakfast bars, tea/coffee etc topped up daily. Very close to city centre (10-15 minute walk) and train station (15-20 minute walk). Friendly staff. Room had a feeling of privacy.
